"A Daughter's Hope" is the fictional telling of the true life events of Michigan resident Christine Hill as she struggles to overcome an extraordinarily difficult and abusive life, the most painful part of which was the unexplained disappearance of her mother from the Florida Keys in 1981. While the case is still unresolved, this particular story focuses on Ms. Hill as she fights with setback after setback, only to become a stronger wife and mother to her own family. But on the day of his final exam, Danny receives a letter. The engagement is off. Heather's baffling explanation: she's going to London where she will travel overland on the Magic Bus to Kathmandu. His plans shattered, Danny finds himself on a journey thousands of miles from home, in search of the woman he loves. When he discovers her on a bus somewhere east of Europe the reunion is less than stellar. They spend the entire ride to Afghanistan debating whether to stay together or break up forever. Musically, Hermann has worked both behind the scenes and out front with such acts as Ray Parker Jr., Foreigner, The Commodores , Whitney Houston and Billy Preston. Mark started to yearn for his own musical voice and began a project in L.A. made up of New York musicians that became a band called Fire Ants, who had a number one song on MP3.com and yielded major press from CNN, Rolling Stone and Wired Magazine. This led to Mark’s return to New York, where he currently resides and runs a recording studio in Harlem. Fast forward a few years where Mark’s current group, Citizens Of Contrary Knowledge, have scored some major music licensing successes, including a feature song in the Showtime hit series, The Tudors. 11:50 pm	Pilot for New Military Series I've been writing the pilot for a TV Series called Operation Home Base.  Operation Home Base is non profit organization that gives support to military families, veterans, wounded warriors, and active duty military personnel by working with existing programs and organizations. OHB works in partnership with the bases’ Dependent Centers to give aid and comfort to military personal and their families while acting as intermediary not only with other military agencies but with the civilian services. Staffed with active duty and retired military personnel along with civilians, OHB was created by the combined branches of the services to take care of their own. It is pilot program, which is designed to build a bridge between the civilian population and the military. Their single goal is to fill the voids left by governmental agencies who are unable provide the necessary services and support for all branches of the military. And Freedom For All Daphne closed the drawer and looked around the room. There was so much she wanted to take, but there was so little space. Two suitcases, her cat Sarah and her dog Maxie were all that were coming with her. Her sister had taken custody of her two mares, Star and Moon. They would be safe with her. Later during one of the horse show tours, she would return them. The rest of her belongings she had arranged for trusted friends and family to store; maybe later, it could be safely forward to her. But she wasn’t counting on it. She wiped away the single tear. Backing toward the threshold, she emotionally let go of the little reminders of the past. She would still have the memories--most of them were sweet. Unfortunately, some were not--resting her open palm on her stomach, she knew that the only way to keep her life and freedom was to run and hide. Angrily, she slammed the door and turned her back on it. “Daphne?” Melanie ran into the hallway from the kitchen. “You ok?” Slowly she shook her head. “Just feeling stupid.” “The trunk’s all packed. There is a little more room if you have something small. Maybe your riding trophies?” “No. Nothing else.” “You don’t have to do this. We can find another way.” “I’m already four weeks. A few more I‘ll start to show and they‘ll stop me at the border.” Getting involved with George Hedge was the biggest mistake of her life. He wasn’t the person he pretended to be. She fell in love with a kind, intelligent progressive man. Only George wasn’t that man; he was an illusion. “You aren’t married. He doesn’t have any proof he’s the father.” Melanie persisted. “Besides, he can’t prove you’re even pregnant.” “It doesn’t matter. Not any more.
